Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse, stores, or logistics environments.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Load and unload deliveries, trucks and shipping containers.
  • Process orders, freight bookings, invoicing and related admin using internal systems.
  • Manage stock movements, inventory control, FIFO and stocktakes.
  • Process returns, credit claims and incoming deliveries.
  • Monitor warehouse supplies and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide professional service via phone and email.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
  • Comply with company policies and safety requirements.

Due to continued growth, an opportunity now exists for a motivated Warehouse Storesperson to join their team. This is a hands on and varied position combining warehouse operations, dispatch, customer service, and order processing. You will be responsible for receiving and despatching goods, preparing customer orders, maintaining an organised warehouse, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely service. The role also involves working with internal systems, coordinating deliveries, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time
  • Load and unload deliveries, trucks, and shipping containers
  • Process customer orders, freight bookings, invoicing, and related administration using internal systems
  • Manage stock movements, inventory control, stock rotation (FIFO), and stocktakes
  • Process returns, credit claims, and incoming deliveries
  • Monitor warehouse supplies and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders regarding orders and deliveries
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide professional customer service via phone and email
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
  • Comply with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and reasonable operational directions

Communication skills are just as important as your warehouse experience in this role. While the position is primarily focused on warehouse operations, you will regularly interact with customers, suppliers, freight providers, and internal team members. As such, you will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a professional and confident telephone manner, and the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will be customer focused, solutions oriented, and comfortable representing the business in a professional manner while delivering a high standard of service.
