Job summary

Able Sales is seeking a motivated Warehouse Storeperson for our Brisbane Warehouse. You will handle organizing the store, stock management, freight coordination, and forklift‑assisted loading/unloading. You will ensure accurate data entry and high housekeeping standards.

This full‑time role requires a current Forklift Operator’s License and a valid driver’s license, plus strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with reliable warehouse duties and store organization.
• Proficient in warehouse and distribution operations, stock management and housekeeping.
• Assist coordination of local and national freight including receiving and dispatching stock.
• Forklift operation and licensing essential for loading/unloading.
• Unloading sea containers and use of forklift skills essential.
• Regular stock takes and liaison with workshop on consumables.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our company is a growing national Importer / Retailer of both heavy and light machinery including generators, compressors and industrial plant. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Warehouse Storeperson to offer reliable support in our Brisbane Warehouse.

• The position requires you to be highly organized, reliable and proficient in carrying out warehouse duties and general organization of the store
• Your position requires proficiency in warehouse and distribution operations, good Stock Management and excellent housekeeping skills
• Assist coordination of local and national freight with freight companies including receiving and dispatching of stock
• Loading and unloading of trucks using your forklift skills is essential
• Unloading of sea containers using your forklift skills is essential
• High Reach Truck experience with double deep pallet racking
• Regular stock taking procedures will be required
• Liaise with workshop staff to manage a wide range of consumables
• Must have good computer literacy with high level of data entry accuracy
• Physically fit and able to safely lift up to 30kg
• Willingness to help out with generator & compressor pre delivery tasks from time to time
• Some customer service and sales will be required from time to time
• A current Forklift Operator’s License and experience is essential to this position
• A current driver's license is also essential
