Job summary

Visy Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the NSW Glass warehouse and transport operation in Penrith. You’ll drive safety, compliance, customer service and commercial outcomes while managing a team of Supervisors, Inventory Control and warehouse staff.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll optimise day-to-day warehouse activities, utilise SAP, WMS and TMS data to improve performance and cost efficiency, and partner with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional

Warehouse Manager | NSW Glass Operations

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to lead our NSW Glass warehouse and transport operation, driving operational excellence while building a high-performing team.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring the operation delivers outstanding safety, compliance, customer service and commercial outcomes. You'll lead a team of Supervisors, Inventory Control and warehouse employees, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and efficient operation of the NSW Glass warehouse and transport fleet.
• Drive operational performance through effective management of people, assets, productivity and costs.
• Ensure compliance with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), HACCP and company standards.
• Manage labour utilisation, operational costs and performance against budget targets.
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors and key internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
• Manage customer escalations and operational challenges with a solutions-focused approach.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members while leading a high-performance culture.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service and profitability.
