Job summary

Visy Logistics in Crestmead, QLD seeks an experienced Fleet Supervisor to lead day-to-day transport operations, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-effective practices across the fleet.

You will plan resources, manage fleet performance, supervise drivers and subcontractors, and drive continuous improvement to achieve DIFOT and customer service goals.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong NHVR/CoR knowledge, safety culture, toolbox talks and cost-control discipline at a busy Crestmead site.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience with coaching and development.
• Experience managing schedules, transport planning and fleet performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Highly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and handle changing priorities.
• Current driver's licence.
• Experience with SAP, TMS or WMS systems is highly regarded.

• Drive DIFOT performance and customer service outcomes.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and costs.
• Analyze operational performance and identify productivity/cost improvement opportunities.
• Support safety culture through hazard reporting and toolbox talks.
• Contribute to P&L through labour, fleet and operations costs.

Our Visy Logistics team is seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor to lead daily transport operations across our Crestmead QLD site. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on safety, compliance, fleet utilisation, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

About The Role

Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading drivers and subcontractors while ensuring safe, compliant and cost‑effective transport operations.

You will drive operational performance through effective planning, resource allocation, fleet management and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Manage subcontractor relationships and associated costs.
• Analyse operational performance and identify opportunities for productivity and cost improvements.
• Support a strong safety culture through hazard reporting, toolbox talks and continuous safety engagement.
• Contribute to P&L performance through labour, fleet and operational cost management.
