Job summary

Andrews Meat Industries is seeking Warehouse General Hands to join our team in Lidcombe. This role involves manual handling, pallet jack operation, and assisting with sorting, packing and stock takes in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Job description

Multiple openings exist for Warehouse General Hands to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

Work Hours:

Positions available for the following schedules:

07:00 pm to 03:00 pm

Location: Lidcombe

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

• Partake in manual handling work
• Operate Electric and manual Pallet jack
• Products sorting and grouping
• Weekly stocktake
• Pick Pack orders
• Warehouse hygiene upkeep

About you:

This opportunity would suit an experienced Warehouse General Hand looking for that next challenge.

What we need from you:

• Be able to work in a chiller room environment
• Be physically fit and strong and able to make repetitive movements and able to lift up to 20kg
• Excellent safety attitude
• Work-related referees that can be contacted to confirm your skills
• Previous experience within a warehousing environment
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
