Andrews Meat Industries in Lidcombe is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. This permanent full-time role supports our foodservice and export operations by ensuring timely processing of invoices, PO matching, and accurate vendor records.

Reporting to the Finance team, you will handle payment runs, month-end accruals, and reconciliation of vendor statements using Sage, Esker, and Protrace. We value accuracy, deadlines, and clear communication with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Accounts Payable experience required.
• Basic spreadsheet knowledge.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check and match invoices with purchase orders and delivery dockets.
• Scan meat delivery dockets into a shared folder.
• Process invoices into the system (Sage, Esker, Protrace).
• Ensure vendors' payments are up to date.
• Prepare automatic and manual payments.
• Assist with month end – accruals and missing invoices reconciliation.
• Resolve invoice issues and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Identify and post invoices in the correct GL account.
• Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliation.
• Check entries in vendor accounts weekly.
• Posting and allocation of payments.
• Maintain the motor vehicles spreadsheet (fuel cards, E-Tag) if required.
• Open new vendor accounts per company procedure.
• Raise Purchase orders and sales invoices if required.

An opening exists for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries located in Lidcombe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)?

• Check and match invoices with purchase order and delivery docket
• Scan meat delivery dockets into a shared folder
• Processing invoices into the system (Sage, Esker, Protrace)
