Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in a similar warehousing/dispatch role.

• Strong problem-solving and proactive stock control abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer order fulfillment is prompt and accurate from Sales Order to invoicing.
• Liaise with internal Customer Service to ensure smooth supply.

• Assist manufacturing with consumables ordering and purchasing administration.
• Coordinate local and interstate transport.
• Work with Production Manager on daily operations.

About the role

As our Warehouse/Dispatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day warehousing and support functions of our manufacturing facility. This is a high pace and hands-on role that will evolve with responsibilities including coordinating customer, stock and manufacturing documentation, ensuring customer order fulfillment is prompt and accurate, and liaising with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer supply experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team of warehouse operators (forklift and truck drivers) for accurate and safe picking and packing of customer orders
• Coordinate customer, stock & manufacturing documentation
• Ensure customer order fulfillment is prompt and accurate from Sales Order through to customer invoicing stages
• Liaise with internal Customer Service team regularly to ensure smooth customer supply occurs
• Control the receipt and dispatch of goods
• Stock control - maintain accurate records with monthly stocktaking (systems in place)
• Assist manufacturing with consumables and parts ordering, as well as administration aspects of purchasing and supply
• Coordinate transport, both local and interstate
• Work alongside the Production Manager in any daily operations requiring attention

About you

5 years minimum experience in a similar role

Forklift and an Australian driver's license mandatory

Tertiary education in a related discipline will be seen as advantageous (e.g. Warehousing, Production or Management areas)

An ability to identify, manage and resolve issues

Excellent PC skills with MYOB ERP experience advantageous

Monitor stock and take a proactive approach to improvements

Ability to uphold safety and QA systems/processes

A positive team player with 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to assist within different areas of the organisation

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
