Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Despatch Coordinator for the Smeaton Grange site. This permanent full-time role manages daily warehouse and despatch activities, inventory, and coordination of deliveries within a manufacturing setting.

You will use ERP/MRP systems to control stock movements, support production and sales teams, and maintain safety and quality in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments is required.
• Strong inventory and warehouse management system experience.
• ERP/MRP experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with container unloading and despatch operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse, receiving, picking, packing and despatch activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock records.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries and container unloading.
• Manage local and interstate dispatches and inter-branch transfers.
• Conduct stocktakes and investigate discrepancies.
• Utilise ERP/MRP systems to track stock movements.
• Support warehouse team with production, sales and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
• Adhere to WHS procedures and safe handling practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes.

Warehouse Despatch Coordinator – Smeaton Grange

Permanent Full-Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Despatch Coordinator to join their Smeaton Grange team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and hands-on warehouse professional to take ownership of daily warehouse and despatch operations within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Coordinating daily warehouse, receiving, picking, packing and despatch operations
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels and stock records
• Coordinating supplier deliveries and container unloading
• Managing local and interstate dispatches and inter-branch transfers
• Conducting stocktakes and investigating stock discrepancies
• Using ERP/MRP systems to manage stock movements and transactions
• Supporting the warehouse team and working closely with production, sales and management
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
• Ensuring WHS procedures and safe manual handling and forklift practices are followed
• Identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and warehouse processes

About You

• Previous warehouse experience, preferably within manufacturing, fabrication or a similar environment
• Experience with inventory and warehouse management systems
• Previous ERP/MRP experience highly regarded
• Experience with container unloading and despatch operations
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• A hands-on approach and strong commitment to workplace safety
