Job summary

Onecall Steel and Form is seeking a hands-on warehouse operative in Canberra to receive, store and dispatch goods and to support daily warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy, and operating overhead crane and forklift while upholding safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing is desirable.
• Capable of physical work.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and receipt of stock.
• Warehouse cleaning and stock-checks.
• Use of tools and equipment within the warehouse.

Join our team in a hands-on warehouse logistics role where you’ll play a key part in keeping stock, orders, and deliveries moving efficiently. We’re looking for a reliable, organised and safety-focused team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the job done right.

You’ll be responsible for receiving and dispatching deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. If you’re a great team player with a strong work ethic and a practical, can-do attitude, we’d love to hear from you.

Onecall Steel and Form is a privately owned and operated business providing steel and formwork supplies to the construction industry in the Canberra and Yass regions.

Duties

Loading and unloading of trucks

Allocating and retrieving goods from warehouse areas

Preparation and receipt of stock

Warehouse cleaning and stock-checks

Use of tools and equipment within the warehouse

Machine operating including overhead crane and forklift

Maintaining a safe work environment

The ability to take direction and to meet deadlines

Work unsupervised and show initiative

Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude

Have a good level of written and spoken English

Capable of physical work

Experience in manufacturing machine operation and/or warehousing is desired

We operate Monday to Friday between 6.00am - 4.00pm - hours to be confirmed upon employment.
