The Recruitment Alternative – Brisbane QLD is seeking a Dispatch Stock Controller for a busy manufacturing and warehouse site in Berrinba. You will coordinate daily dispatch, book freight, and maintain inventory accuracy to ensure on-time orders.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 40-hour week with day shifts, comprehensive training, and a supportive team environment. Forklift licence is essential and owning a vehicle is preferred due to limited public transport access.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, dispatch or inventory control experience.
• Current Forklift Licence – essential.
• High level IT skills including ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Physically capable of warehouse duties.
• Reliable own vehicle and licence, location not easily accessible by public transport.
• This role is NOT SUITABLE to candidates who do not have Permanent Residency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily dispatch of orders around Australia, handling 300–500 jobs per month.
• Book freight and prepare dispatch documentation.
• Check, package and label outgoing goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory and complete stock checks.
• Investigate stock discrepancies.
• Assist with stocktakes and warehouse operations.
• Communicate with internal teams regarding deliveries and priorities.
• Operate forklifts safely and maintain warehouse housekeeping.

For over 50 years, the company has provided innovative products and exceptional customer service to a diverse range of industries. We are seeking an experienced, organised and reliable Dispatch Stock Controller to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment in Berrinba, which dispatches up to 500 jobs per month to various locations around Australia.

This hands-on role will see you coordinating daily dispatch, booking freight, maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring customer orders are dispatched correctly and on time.
