Job summary

Storage King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Burwood store in Melbourne. You will work closely with leadership to deliver exceptional store results and customer service, supporting daily operations and team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Retail, sales or hospitality background preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills with training provided.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with direction.
• Good problem solving and ownership of tasks.
• Passion for customer service with an above-and-beyond attitude.
• Team player with hands-on approach to diverse tasks.
• Goal oriented and results driven.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit and holds a valid Driver's Licence.

The Role

We currently have a full-time position available for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team based in Burwood. Assistant Store Managers are the key support management role in store and work hand in hand with the leadership to deliver exceptional store results and customer service.

Working hours

Tuesday to Friday 9am to 5pm & Saturday 8am to 4.30pm
Total 38 hours per week

We are open

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Saturday 8am - 4.30pm

Some flexibility will be required for this role.

About you

• Ideal if you have a retail, sales or hospitality background
• Willingness to learn new skills associated with a sales and customer service role - training is provided
• Self-motivated and able to work using own initiative or with support and direction
• Enjoy problem solving and taking ownership of tasks
• Passion for delivering customer service excellence, with an above and beyond attitude and work ethic
• Enthusiasm as a team player with a hands on approach to a diverse range of tasks
• Goal orientated and results driven
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Physically fit
• Drivers License
