Job summary

Auto & General is seeking a Desktop Home Assessor to manage end-to-end claims, determine cause, scope and cost, and coordinate restoration work with trusted suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing quality building work.
• Background in reviewing and determining accurate scopes of work.
• Demonstrated communication, negotiation & conflict resolution handling ability, along with exceptional time management & organisational skills.
• Proven experience in building effective business relationships with all stakeholders.
• Insurance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the damage and validate event-related costs with references to the PDS.
• Review reports/photos and determine repair scope and costs.
• Negotiate with repairers and customers on costs and scope.
• Project manage repairs and liaise with suppliers.
• Identify defects and ensure timely rectifications and invoicing.
