Job summary

Aurum Poultry Co. seeks a Business Development Executive to lead growth in Victoria’s Vietnamese and Asian food markets.

You will spend substantial time in-market meeting customers, identifying opportunities and building relationships with independent supermarkets, grocers, butchers, restaurants and foodservice operators. Reporting to the Commercial team, you will build a strong sales pipeline, win new business, and drive category expansion across Aurum’s poultry range.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales or account management.
• Strong new-business development and relationship-building capability.
• Experience in food, FMCG, wholesale, grocery, hospitality supply or a related industry.
• Confidence working independently and managing a customer territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across Victoria’s Vietnamese and Asian food markets.
• Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline.
• Prospect, visit and convert new customers.
• Grow existing accounts through product ranging, category expansion and relationship development.
• Identify opportunities across Aurum’s poultry portfolio.
• Conduct regular customer and market visits.
• Develop strong relationships with business owners, buyers, chefs and operators.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing and market trends.
• Support product launches, promotional programs and seasonal campaigns.
• Work closely with Customer Service, Marketing, Operations and Production to deliver a strong customer experience.
• Maintain accurate CRM, customer and opportunity records.
• Provide regular market insights and commercial feedback to support planning and decision-making.
