MJM Recruit has partnered with a respected national supplier of building products to secure an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Victoria. You will engage builders, contractors and developers, offering solutions from timber to cladding and frames & trusses.

Based in Somerton, the role is highly autonomous with strong product range support and a national reputation, requiring you to hunt, win and expand key accounts across Melbourne’s northern and eastern regions.

Qualifikationen

• Proven B2B sales experience with a strong new-business focus.
• Experience in building products, timber or related construction materials is preferred.
• Track record of hunting, winning and growing accounts.
• Ability to manage pricing, proposals and commercial negotiations.

• Hunt, identify and convert new business opportunities across Victoria.
• Build relationships with builders, contractors, developers and construction stakeholders.
• Solution sell across an extensive building products portfolio.
• Drive growth across multiple product categories and key segements.
• Identify upcoming projects and engage customers early.
• Develop new accounts and grow opportunities within existing customers.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline, CRM activity and accurate forecasting.
• Monitor market activity and identify emerging opportunities.
