Job summary

Manly Road Veterinary Hospital in Manly West, QLD, is seeking a friendly front-of-house team member to coordinate client and patient flow in a fast-paced hospital. You will greet clients, manage the waiting room, book appointments, handle high volumes of calls and emails, and process cash, EFT and insurance payments.

A warm, confident, computer‑literate person who enjoys teamwork and can multitask will fit in well.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly and approachable attitude.
• Basic knowledge of animal care or genuine interest in animal health is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously.
• Fast learner with aptitude for adopting new software and systems.
• Sound computer skills and capacity to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage the waiting room to ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinate flow of clients and patients through the hospital.
• Book appointments and handle high volumes of phone calls and emails.
• Process cash, EFT and insurance transactions.
