Job summary

Manly Road Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Floor Manager in Manly West, QLD. You will join the management team to support staff and oversee day-to-day operations in a busy mixed practice offering general care, surgery, and emergency services.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in veterinary or healthcare settings, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and a hands-on approach. Veterinary qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Manly Road 24hr Veterinary Hospital is nestled in the vibrant bayside suburb of Manly West, we are a privately owned, mixed practice with a team of 100+ passionate professionals. We offer a full spectrum of veterinary services including general practice, surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, orthopaedics, diagnostic imaging, and emergency care—all under one roof.

About the role

Manly Road 24hr Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Floor Manager to support staff members within the practice. The successful candidate will be part of the management team, working well in a dynamic team environment and assisting with the general management of the practice.

Key responsibilities

Assisting with the management of day-to-day operations, including people management, organising workflows, managing rosters, ordering stock, delegating tasks as required.

Organising training and development activities.

Monitoring/checking invoices and team performance.

Assisting with the purchasing of products for the hospital.

Assist in handling client concerns.

Managing and implementing operational projects as required.

About you

Previous supervisory and/or management experience within the veterinary or human healthcare industry (preferred but not essential).

Strong Organisational Skills.

A "Can Do"/"Hands On" Approach.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Client-focused.

Qualifications in Veterinary Nurse/Vet Tech/Vet would be ideal but not essential.
