Alongside operational responsibilities, you will help increase participation, strengthen member relationships and develop group and corporate bookings.

You will work with the owners to prioritise responsibilities within the agreed part-time hours and maintain effective handovers and coverage with the wider team.

This opportunity suits an experienced venue or club manager, or a capable assistant manager ready to take the next step.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Venue operations: Manage daily operations, court bookings, opening and closing arrangements, venue presentation and maintenance follow-up.
  • Team leadership: Coordinate staff rosters, support onboarding and training, set clear expectations and maintain effective shift handovers.
  • Customer experience: Respond to enquiries, resolve customer concerns and create a welcoming environment for players of all experience levels.
  • Membership and retention: Build relationships with members and regular players, encourage repeat visits and support membership growth.
  • Programs and events: Coordinate social sessions, leagues and events with staff and coaches, including participant communication and on-site delivery.
  • Business development: Follow up corporate and group booking enquiries, support promotional activities and identify opportunities to improve court utilisation.
  • Performance reporting: Provide weekly updates on bookings, participation, revenue, staffing and key operational issues.
  • Safety and standards: Follow venue safety procedures, maintain incident and maintenance records, and elevate hazards or significant issues promptly.

  • A practical, hands‑on approach and reliable follow‑through.
  • A customer‑focused mindset and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Confidence using booking systems and basic operational reports.
