Job summary

Play Nation Pte Ltd in Sydney seeks an ambitious Club Manager to lead our next growth phase. You will build a thriving racquet sports community, grow memberships, drive court utilisation, and curate events and leagues while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You’ll own day-to-day operations with autonomy to implement ideas, partner with local businesses, and grow revenue. A self-starter mindset, strong marketing and communications skills, and a passion for sport are essential for

Play Nation is one of Sydney's fast growing padel and pickleball destinations, and we're looking for an ambitious Club Manager to lead our next stage of growth.

This is not a traditional operations role. We're looking for someone who thrives on building communities, creating experiences, driving participation, and growing a business. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, implement ideas, and be rewarded for the results you deliver.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Growing memberships, court utilisation, and revenue
• Building an engaged and loyal player community
• Creating and promoting events, tournaments, leagues, and social activities
• Managing Play Nation's marketing, sales, social media, and local partnerships
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience on and off the court
• Leading day-to-day club operations and ensuring high standards across the venue

Who We're Looking For

• A self-starter who doesn't need constant direction
• Proven experience in growing a business, community, membership base, or customer engagement
• Strong marketing, sales and social media skills
• Commercially minded with a focus on results
• Excellent communicator who loves connecting with people
• Passionate about sport, particularly racquet sports, fitness, or community-based businesses

You might come from a sports club, gym, recreation centre, hospitality, events, or customer growth background. What matters most is your ability to build a thriving community and drive growth.
