Job summary

Crystalbrook Sam in Adelaide is recruiting a Guest Service Agent to join the opening team and help bring this exciting new hotel to life, supporting day-to-day operations and delivering memorable guest experiences from the start.

As part of Crystalbrook Sam, you will contribute to a sophisticated 196-room hotel with a signature rooftop restaurant, lobby bar, Day Spa, and heated pool. We value bold, sustainable, and people-first service and offer extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service experience; similar role preferred but not essential.
• Team-oriented approach to work with colleagues.
• Experience using Opera Cloud and Hotsos; knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Availability to work a 7-day overnight roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of Adelaide and local tourism is useful.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests on arrival to hotel, anticipate guest needs and ensure customers are always referred to by name.
• Be aware of VIPs, long stays and return guests; communicate with all departments regarding hotel happenings and VIPs.
• Assist guests with requests, providing unique solutions and aiming to exceed expectations.
• Have full working knowledge of all tours and guest services facilities.
• Valet guest vehicles when required.

Crystalbrook Sam is coming to Adelaide, and we are looking for an experienced Guest Service Agent to help bring this exciting new hotel to life. This is an opportunity to join the opening team, support day-to-day hotel operations, and help create memorable guest experiences from the very beginning.

As part of the team, you will contribute to the successful launch of a sophisticated 196-room hotel featuring, a signature rooftop restaurant on Level 12, a lobby bar and café, our Wellness Eleme Day Spa and a heated outdoor pool area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To meet and greet guests on arrival to hotel, anticipate guest needs and desires and ensure customersare always referred to by name

SKILLS | EXPERIENCE | QUALIFICATIONS

• Exceptional customer service experience, previous experience in a similar position preferred, but not essential
• You will be team centric and enjoy working to common goals
• Experience Using Opera Cloud and Hotsos
• Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office
• Availability to work a 7-day overnight roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Has ability to use initiative and anticipate guest needs
• Knowledge of Adelaide with an enthusiasm for local tourism will be useful
