Job summary

Crystalbrook Sam in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Guest Service Agent to help launch a 196-room hotel with rooftop restaurant, lobby bar, spa and pool. Join the opening team to deliver memorable experiences and support day-to-day operations in a boutique, 5-star setting.

Be part of a bold, customer-obsessed culture, with opportunities for growth and involvement across a vibrant city precinct. Availability for a 7-day overnight roster is required.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Team-centric approach with ability to work towards common goals.
• Knowledge of Opera Cloud and Hotsos systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests on arrival, address guests by name, and anticipate needs.
• Coordinate with departments regarding hotel happenings and VIPs.
• Assist guests with requests and provide unique solutions to exceed expectations.
• Maintain full knowledge of tours and guest services facilities.
• Valet guest vehicles when required.

Crystalbrook Sam is coming to Adelaide, and we are looking for an experienced Guest Service Agent to help bring this exciting new hotel to life. This is an opportunity to join the opening team, support day-to-day hotel operations, and help create memorable guest experiences from the very beginning.

As part of the team, you will contribute to the successful launch of a sophisticated 196-room hotel featuring, a signature rooftop restaurant on Level 12, a lobby bar and café, our Wellness Eleme Day Spa and a heated outdoor pool area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To meet and greet guests on arrival to hotel, anticipate guest needs and desires and ensure customersare always referred to by name
• Be aware of any VIP’s, long stays and return guests staying in the hotel. Communicate regularly with all departments with regards to hotel happenings and VIP’s
• Assist all guests daily with their requests, providing unique solutions and always striving to exceed theexpectation
• Have full working knowledge of all tours and guest services facilities
• Valet of guest vehicles when required

SKILLS | EXPERIENCE | QUALIFICATIONS

• Exceptional customer service experience, previous experience in a similar position preferred, but not essential
• You will be team centric and enjoy working to common goals
• Experience Using Opera Cloud and Hotsos
• Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office
• Availability to work a 7-day overnight roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Has ability to use initiative and anticipate guest needs
• Knowledge of Adelaide with an enthusiasm for local tourism will be useful
