ALH Hotels is seeking a creative Venue Admin Support and Marketing Specialist for Sunnybank Hotel. This hybrid role splits 3 days of Venue Support Officer duties with 2 days dedicated to venue marketing and content creation.

You will manage local social media, website, photography and Canva-driven content, while handling financial reconciliations, POS records, stock control, and compliance reviews. Collaboration and confidentiality are essential as you support peak trade periods and team

Venue Admin Support and Marketing Specialist| Sunnybank Hotel | Dream big with us!
Internally known as a Venue Support Officer

We are looking for a creative, hands-on Venue Admin Support and Marketing Specialist to join the team at the Sunnybank Hotel. This is a unique hybrid role split across 3 days of Venue Support Officer (VSO) duties and 2 days dedicated entirely to venue marketing and content creation.

A day in the life of a Venue Support Officer:

• Take ownership of the venue's local social media channels, website management, photography, and graphic design tasks (using tools like Canva). Create engaging content to drive local community engagement and foot traffic.
• Complete financial reconciliations, maintain point-for-sale registers, and ensure data integrity across ALH systems and employee/training records.
• Manage stock control and stocktakes, identify and highlight cash/stock variances, and assist the management team with compliance, audits, and loss prevention.
• Ensure all VISA obligations are met and managed for team members in ALH systems, and review venue-generated reports to provide actionable feedback.

About You:

• You provide outstanding customer service with enquiries via phone, email and face to face.
• You have Social Media / Marketing experience and or interest.
• You understand the importance of privacy & confidentiality with sensitive information
• You maintain the administration area in a well organised and professional manner at all times
• You support the Venue team with service on the floor during peak times of trade
• You attend and contribute your insights in team meetings
