Department of Transport and Planning in Melbourne is seeking a Vehicle Safety Operations Officer to join the Vehicle Safety Standards group. The role focuses on maintaining administration and business-support systems, coordinating resources and work activities, and providing guidance to customers, partners and stakeholders in line with legislation and policies.

About the role

The Vehicle Safety Operations Officer maintains administration and business support systems across the Vehicle Safety Standards group and helps coordinate resources and work activities. The role manages correspondence, maintains accurate data and systems, and provides advice to customers, partners and stakeholders in line with legislation, policies and procedures. The role also supports continuous improvement by reviewing and improving processes and work practices. It facilitates staff and partner training, supports efficient service delivery and builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive operational outcomes.
