Job summary

Proeger Flow Solutions on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer – Valve & Automation to join our on-site team in Baringa. You will handle technical quotations, valve sizing, actuator sizing, and product documentation, coordinating with customers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely delivery of projects.

You will review specs, select components, and prepare detailed proposals while maintaining strong customer relationships and maximizing profitability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in mechanical, electrical, process or chemical engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2-5 years experience in industrial valves and automation.
• Experience in process control and instrumentation.
• Technical sales support experience.
• Bilingual in French, Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries regarding valves, actuators, and automation products.
• Prepare and follow up quotations in a timely manner.
• Provide technical product recommendations based on customer applications.
• Support external sales representatives with technical and commercial information.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver high levels of customer service.
• Assist customers with product availability, lead times, pricing, and order status.
