Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Post Graduate Fellow in Upper Gastrointestinal Tract Surgery at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The role focuses on advanced laparoscopic skills, teaching, and participation in research within the Upper GI Surgery department.

The successful candidate will be a registered medical practitioner with FRACS in Upper GI Surgery or equivalent, contributing to high standards of patient care and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current medical practitioner registered with AHPRA.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Upper GI Surgery or recognised equivalent.
• Advanced training in Upper GI Surgery and related subspecialty skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care and diagnostic services in Upper GI Surgery.
• Participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities.
• Develop subspecialty interests with focus on advanced laparoscopic skills.
• Contribute to patient care across oesophago-gastric, pancreatic and liver procedures.
