Job summary

Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Ventilation Officer for underground mining operations in Western Australia. You will report to the Mine Ventilation Superintendent and optimise ventilation demand and supply to support production and safety.

Responsibilities include leading ventilation planning, coordinating across teams, and driving continuous improvement through projects and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Completion of WHS risk management units and legislation examination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Deswik CAD and Ventsim Design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive ventilation planning across LOM, quarterly, weekly and monthly horizons.
• Lead ventilation coordination and communication with mining teams and contractors.
• Support ventilation projects and capital infrastructure planning.
• Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with WA ventilation legislation.
• Perform legislated duties of Ventilation Officer under WA law.
