Job summary
Anglo American Australia’s Grosvenor Mine in Moranbah is seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to join the Technical Services team on a permanent basis. You will coordinate mine planning inputs, deliver Business and Monthly Operating Plans, and drive ventilation, gas management and technical projects to support safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications
- Degree-qualified mining engineer with underground coal exposure.
- Solid understanding of coal mining processes and legislation.
- Strong planning and problem-solving abilities with good communication.
- Experience with mine planning tools (XPAC, Deswik, Mine Planner).
Responsibilities
- Deliver mining engineering services to support Zero Harm and safety systems.
- Coordinate weekly and long-range mine planning, including 5-year plans and business plans.
- Monitor, analyse and report mine performance, manage projects and improvements.
- Support ventilation, gas management, and technical projects across the site.
- Lead permit-to-mine processes to maintain production continuity.
- Promote safety culture in all site interactions.
