Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd. invites an experienced Senior Ventilation and Projects engineer to join our Technical Services team at the Plutonic Gold Mine in Western Australia.

The role focuses on delivering capital and operational projects spanning power, pumping, ventilation, and mine services, with IT integration and business improvements to enhance safety and efficiency. FIFO is typical for this site.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground mining.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, scope and deliver capital and operational projects to support mine plans.
• Provide input into annual capital project budgeting and mine schedules.
• Oversee ventilation planning and compliance (primary/secondary).
• Provide technical oversight of project scoping, tendering and awarding of works.
• Develop Life of Mine strategies for power, pumping, IT, water and ventilation.
• Ensure safe work plans for project crews.
