Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Ventilation Engineer for one of our key underground operations in Western Australia on an 8/6 roster. You will provide technical leadership across ventilation planning, modelling, and project delivery.

The ideal candidate has extensive underground ventilation experience, VentSim modelling skills, and strong knowledge of WA mining regulations. This is an on-site role in a safety-focused, collaborative environment with opportunities to drive

Qualifications

Extensive underground mine ventilation experience.
VentSim modelling and ventilation planning capability.
Strong knowledge of WA mining regulations and ventilation compliance requirements.
Satisfy requirements for appointment as onsite ventilation officer.
Experience managing major ventilation projects and contractors.
Proven ability to identify and implement ventilation optimisation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and review short and long-term underground ventilation plans.
Manage and optimise ventilation systems.
Ventilation modelling and simulation using VentSim.
Deliver ventilation-related projects, audits and system improvements.
Monitor ventilation performance and provide regular reporting.
Ensure compliance with WA mining legislation and company standards.
Identify energy efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with operational and technical stakeholders to support mine planning and performance.
