Job summary

Greatland Resources Limited is seeking a Ventilation Engineer to support underground operations at Telfer, WA. Reporting to the Underground Mining Superintendent, you will ensure ventilation design, QAQC and safety compliance across current and future mining areas.

The role involves modeling, audits and maintaining ventilation controls on a permanent full-time basis with an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth. You will collaborate with planning teams, manage Ventilation Control Plans, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or similar.
• Meet requirements to be appointed as Underground Ventilation Officer.
• Class “C” Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
• Proficient in Deswik CAD and VentSim.
• Experience with Power BI and MS Office.
• Underground hard rock mining operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee adherence to minimum ventilation requirements, procedures and plans.
• Plan, model and implement ventilation designs for underground operation.
• Collaborate with long-term planning to model ventilation systems for current and upcoming areas.
• Maintain and update the Ventilation Control Plan and related systems.
• QAQC: undertake and report ventilation readings and ensure QA/QC standards.
• Review QAQC performance and provide improvement recommendations.
• Provide ongoing oversight of ventilation systems aligning with safety and operations.
