Job summary

Barto Gold Mining Pty Ltd is seeking an Underground Shift Boss to lead underground operations on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster. The role reports to the Mine Foreman and involves coordinating with mine operations, safety, and planning teams to achieve production targets and ensure efficient, safe performance.

Candidates should have a WA Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency, at least 2 years in a similar role, and a current WA C-class driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in a similar role.
• Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with mine operations teams and other departments to meet safety, cost and production targets.
• Ensure mine planning activities are completed in a timely manner.
• Potential to contribute to cutting the portal for the new underground project.
