Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, seeks an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor to lead crews on a FIFO roster from Perth to site. You will supervise daily underground operations, drive safety systems, and ensure productive performance within site procedures.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years underground mining experience (or 2 years as a qualified Mining Engineer), a current Underground Shift Supervisor Ticket, and a valid Australian driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Current Underground Shift Supervisor Ticket.
• Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence (C Class minimum).
• Current Working at Heights Ticket.
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol Screening.
• Relevant underground mining qualifications, licences, and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising underground mining crews to ensure safe and productive operations.
• Coordinating underground activities and liaising with contractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Conducting daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and work planning sessions.
• Monitoring production targets and safety performance throughout each shift.
• Investigating incidents in a timely manner and supporting corrective actions.
• Maintaining accurate shift records and production reporting.
