Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd is seeking an Underground Shift Boss/Supervisor to lead crews across main underground and satellite deposits on a FIFO Perth roster. You will guide crews, ensure statutory compliance, and drive safe, productive operations in a growing gold producer environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and the ability to work across multiple mining styles while planning and mentoring team members for long-term development.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Well-developed organisational skills and a proactive approach
• Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
• National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
• First Aid Certificate (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate crew of up to 15 people to achieve production and development targets
• Fulfil Section 26 statutory responsibilities
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture underground
• Monitor and coordinate daily underground mining activities for efficiency
• Ensure compliance with mining plans and site procedures
• Support and develop underground operators and team members
• Collaborate with Technical Services, Maintenance and other stakeholders
• Drive accountability, performance and continuous improvement
