Job summary

Macmahon is seeking an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor to lead performance and ensure safety across their projects in the Goldfields region of WA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a detailed understanding of underground mining processes.

The role requires a WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) Certificate and a valid Australian Drivers Licence. You’ll manage team performance and promote a culture of safety and respect. A competitive benefits package, including paid parental leave and retail discounts, is offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in an Underground Shift Supervisors role.
• Able to monitor crews’ competencies and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily performance: safety, plan compliance, cost and quality.
• Set clear expectations for team development and recognition.
• Own schedules, resources, and interfaces with contractors/suppliers.
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement.
• Foster a speak-up culture where everyone is respected.

Skills

Leadership and supervisory experience in large teams

Education
