Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in mining engineering and WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate (or equivalent).
• Extensive underground mining leadership across multiple sites, with exposure to both contract mining and owner-operator environments.
• Experience in developing and overseeing underground expansion projects and feasibility studies.
• Strong safety, quality and regulatory compliance track record.
• Proven ability to lead senior teams and manage complex contractor relationships.
• Demonstrated capability to contribute to executive-level business planning and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee underground mining operations to deliver safe and efficient outcomes aligned with targets.
• Foster a positive relationship with the underground mining contractor to ensure contractual objectives are met.
• Manage underground growth and infrastructure projects through feasibility, commissioning and steady state.
• Oversee CAPEX and OPEX budgets, driving cost-optimisation and asset lifecycle value.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, licensing and management of current operations and expansions.
• Mentor the underground leadership team, promoting accountability, safety and succession planning.
• Engage with executives and contribute to business planning and organisational strategy.
