Job summary

Xanda Group is representing a well-established underground gold producer in Western Australia. The Production Engineer will plan and schedule extraction, reporting to the Senior Engineer – Mine Production, and drive targets while maintaining ESG standards.

The role is FIFO from Perth on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, with a quarterly bonus up to 10% and private health insurance allowance. Regional town accommodation may be provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Candidates with underground or surface engineering experience in gold mining preferred.
• Strong planning, scheduling and safety compliance capabilities.
• Exposure to long-hole drilling and blasting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage two-week mine schedules with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Senior Mine Production Engineer to hit production targets.
• Develop, implement and monitor reporting for decision-making.
• Provide information on production performance and safety priorities.
• Create drill and blast designs using current geological data.
• Track progress to maintain alignment with weekly targets and safety.
