Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Senior Mine Planning engineer to deliver short- and medium‑term planning for underground operations on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth. Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Planning, you will develop mine plans and review economic evaluations to meet safety, production, and cost targets aligned with Agnew’s strategic

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to mining.
• Underground mining experience, ideally in gold, with WA FCMM certification (UG time).

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate short to medium term mine plans aligned with objectives and LOM timeframes.
• Review economic evaluations for mine designs to meet financial objectives.
• Ensure plans cover ventilation, infrastructure, DnB and paste fill needs.
• Prepare stope designs, declines, escapeways, and level layouts with schedules.
• Create infrastructure plans aligned with interactions and budget constraints.
• Provide timely planning guidance for mining production schedules.
• Collaborate across departments to support key projects.
