Job summary

Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Underground Supervisor for the Agnew gold mine, with FIFO from Perth on a 8/6 and 7/7 days/nights rotating roster. You will lead underground crews, supervise daily production, mentor team members and ensure work is carried out safely and to high standards.

The role reports to the Coordinator Underground Production and offers 6% site allowance, quarterly bonus, health insurance allowance, generous leave, parental leave, and a flight

Qualifications

• Proven underground supervisory experience in mining environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide underground crews.
• Sound understanding of underground production and development processes, mining methods and ability to plan and forecast.
• Underground Supervisor Certificate (2022 Regulations)
• Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Valid manual C Class Driver’s Licence

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising underground crews to deliver safe and efficient shift outcomes
• Planning and supervising daily operations, addressing technical issues and improvement opportunities
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with site safety systems and procedures
• Coaching and mentoring crew members to build capability and a high-performance culture
• Collaborating with business partners and coordinators to implement initiatives, projects, and team development plans
