Job summary

Scope is seeking a Full-Time Practice Manager to lead the operations of a two-site physiotherapy practice. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care, exceptional patient experience, and a positive, collaborative work culture.

You will oversee reception, onboarding, rosters, and financial processes while partnering with leadership to drive continuous improvement and staff development. This role is ideal for someone with healthcare management experience who can lead by example.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a management role and/or within a healthcare or allied health setting (essential).
• Experience with Zanda Practice Management Software is highly regarded.
• Leads by example, balancing kindness, empathy and accountability.
• Hands-on, calm and practical approach, especially under pressure, with high standards and continuous improvement.
• Proactive, mature and solutions-focused approach to work and problem-solving.
• Genuine empathy and care for clients, with a strong desire to support them and their families.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership while collaborating as part of a team.
• Friendly, approachable and an excellent communicator, with the ability to lead a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Manage reception duties and oversee day-to-day operations and clinic systems, including the practice management software.
• Work with the Managing Director to support onboarding of new team members and ongoing staff development.
• Oversee accounts receivable and debt management processes.
• Coordinate administrative staff shifts and rosters to ensure accuracy and proper management.
• Oversee day-to-day operations with focus on client experience, accountability, efficiency, and use of resources.
• Promote and inspire commitment to the vision, values and culture of the business.
