Job summary

Fibre King Pty Ltd in New South Wales is seeking a Service Engineer to be the frontline on-site support for packaging machinery, ensuring safe, reliable operation across installation, commissioning, maintenance and breakdown response.

Ideal candidates hold Cert III Eng – Mechanical Trade or Electrical Fitter Mechanic, with PLC I/O experience, strong automation and fault-finding, and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required: Cert III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
• PLC I/O experience essential.
• Ability to commission and test high-speed packaging equipment.
• Strong automation and mechanical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Service Engineer, you’ll be the front line of customer support, ensuring our equipment runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently throughout its serviceable life. You’ll work hands-on across installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, and breakdown support — while also building strong relationships with customers within your territory.

This role will suit aMechanical Fitter with Restricted Electrical Licenseor anElectrician with strong automation and mechanical experiencewho thrives in a dynamic, problem-solving environment.

What You’ll Do
