Operations Scheduler – Laverton North Depot Booth Transport Pty Ltd

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day transport operations between Tasmania and the Mainland running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and scheduling of deliveries to meet customer expectations
• Coordinating with drivers, operations, and administration staff
• Managing data entry with a high degree of accuracy
• Delivering outstanding customer service as a frontline point of contact
• Supporting other team members and departments as required

This role requires flexibility, to meet operational demands, the 5on 3off roster is on site with rotating days.

About You

You're someone who stays calm under pressure and gets things done. You'll bring:

• Proven experience in a planning, scheduling, or logistics coordination role
• A confident, professional telephone manner and strong customer service skills
• Excellent administrative and computer skills
• The ability to prioritise, multitask, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• A team-first attitude with a reliable and flexible approach to work
• Experience within the transport or logistics industry will be highly regarded, particularly experience with intermodal and ferry transport portals.
