Job summary

Strait Link is seeking a hands-on Logistics Supervisor to support Port Melbourne forwarding and transport logistics operations. You will oversee daily activities across road, rail and shipping while guiding the scheduling team and driving operational accuracy.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and performance, with data entry across CBS, Tollworks, and Oracle, and a focus on delivering high-quality transport services to meet customer expectations. Tuesday–Saturday shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport, or fleet operations.
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance and chain of responsibility.
• Proven ability to coordinate schedules and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support scheduling staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assist with data entry across systems (CBS, Tollworks, Oracle).
• Monitor driver timesheets in line with fatigue regulations.
• Debrief run sheets and ensure operational accuracy.
• Provide support across administration, operations, and container control teams.
• Ensure compliance with OHS and transport regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture through leadership.
• Deliver high-quality transport services meeting customer expectations.
• Tuesday to Saturday role with flexible operational requirements.

This role plays a key part in overseeing daily logistics activities across road, rail, and shipping, while providing leadership and support to the scheduling team.

• Supervise and support scheduling staff in day-to-day operations
• Assist with data entry across systems (CBS, Tollworks, Oracle)
• Monitor driver timesheets in line with fatigue and mass management regulations
• Debrief run sheets and ensure operational accuracy
• Provide support across administration, operations, and container control teams when required
• Ensure compliance with OHS, Chain of Responsibility, and transport regulations
• Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and safe work practices
• Deliver high-quality transport services that meet or exceed customer expectations
• Tuesday to Saturday role, with flexibility required to meet operational needs
