Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport/logistics coordination, client liaison, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on client service.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Exceptional time management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration with clients and colleagues.
• Experience in transport/logistics or construction industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Secure permits including road transport, council, and railway crossing permits when applicable.
• Coordinate movement of goods and equipment for timely delivery.
• Arrange and manage scheduling of resources such as materials, hire equipment and labour.
• Manage transport schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
• Conduct pre-project client meetings to establish clear communication and address concerns.
• Serve as primary client contact throughout project lifecycle with timely updates.
• Build and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage payment schedules and ensure invoicing and payment from clients.
• Maintain clear communication with transport crews, internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines and mitigate delays.
• Document permits, schedules and client communications.
• Identify and resolve logistics or client-related issues.
