Qualifications

• Experience in transport coordination, logistics, fleet scheduling or a similar operational role.
• A good understanding of equipment transport, vehicle capacities and logistics requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands, manage timeframes and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident working with Microsoft Office and business systems.
• A practical problem-solving approach and the ability to respond quickly when plans change.
• Comfortable building positive working relationships with internal teams, customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment transport movements across the business, ensuring availability, timing and operational priorities are aligned.
• Liaise with internal teams, customers and transport contractors to ensure efficient and timely deliveries and collections.
• Monitor transport costs and contractor performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and manage costs.
• Coordinate with preferred logistics providers to resolve transport issues and maintain service standards.
• Maintain accurate transport records, requests and reporting through company systems.
• Provide practical transport support and guidance to internal teams, including ensuring forklift hire equipment and attachments are ready when required.
• Ensure all transport activities are completed in line with company policies, safety requirements and relevant regulatory standards.
