Job summary

People Group Recruitment is seeking a Transport Allocator for Carole Park, Queensland. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm, with responsibilities spanning directing Independent Contractors, ensuring fleet on-site, and maintaining live data in dispatch systems.

Immediate start for someone with 1+ year in transport allocation and strong MS Office skills. Ideal candidates demonstrate excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt under pressure while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Transport Allocator/Coordination experience.
• Geographical knowledge and road system.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills, preferably Excel.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Independent Contractors in the daily load and route plan.
• Ensure fleet vehicles are on site.
• Adhere to daily load quantities and monitor loads for service delivery.
• Ensure live data entry in FMS and PC Despatch.
• Report issues and implement solutions promptly.
• Oversee daily and weekly revenue plan.
• Compile and enter required paperwork from previous day.
• Communicate delivery/pickup issues with clients.
• Perform Fatigue Management audit requirements.
• Report incidents or non-conformances to Management.
• Chase toolbox/safety bulletins to meet weekly target.
• Contact potential drivers and confirm eligibility.
• Complete KPI reports.
• Provide end-of-day support for unfinished routes.
• Assist across areas of the business.
• Participate in regular Company/Contractor meetings.
