Job summary

ANC Delivers is seeking a motivated Transport Allocator to join our Brisbane team. In this hands-on role, you will schedule deliveries, plan routes, and allocate transport resources to meet our customer promise.

You will use Transport Management Systems and other digital tools to monitor performance, resolve issues, and support a smooth delivery network across Brisbane and interstate routes. This role includes weekend shifts on a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in transport or logistics.
• Strong ability to learn and use operational technology platforms to support allocation, planning and decision-making.
• Customer-focused mindset with service excellence.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisation to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proactive problem-solving to minimise disruption to operations.
• Knowledge of local and interstate logistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily delivery schedules, vehicle requirements and route planning using transport systems.
• Monitor delivery performance and real-time allocation activities with digital tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Resolve operational issues on delivery days to ensure timely outcomes.
• Support the customer experience by meeting or exceeding delivery expectations.
• Ensure allocations adhere to COR principles and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve the customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules and relevant operational metrics.
