Transdev John Holland Buses NSW Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an Authorised Officer to safeguard fare compliance and passenger safety across Region 9. The role supports customer service excellence and revenue protection within a busy public transport network.

This fixed-term full-time position involves an 8-hour shift roster from 5:00am to 11:00pm, weekends and public holidays, with comprehensive training provided to succeed in the role and contribute to safe, reliable services.

Qualificações

• Current NSW Driver Licence.
• Valid NSW Working With Children Check Clearance.
• Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Sydney's Eastern Suburbs bus network is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver revenue protection and fare compliance activities across the Region 9 bus network.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers travelling throughout the public transport network.
• Conduct fare compliance checks professionally, fairly, and respectfully.
• Act as a first responder to incidents on services, helping maintain passenger safety and welfare.
• Deliver clear, accurate information to customers and effectively de-escalate challenging situations.
• Support crowd management activities during service disruptions, delays, and major events.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth network operations.
• Prepare reports and documentation relating to compliance and operational activities.
• Represent Transdev John Holland Buses with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.
