Job summary

Wilson Security is expanding its operations across New South Wales and is seeking Authorised Officers to support the Sydney Bus Network. These roles involve promoting fare compliance, issuing cautions and fines as required, and working across various locations in Sydney's Northern Beaches with full training and equipment provided.

As part of the transport operations team you will interact with passengers, drivers and partners to maintain safety, compliance, and positive customer experiences on

Qualifications

• Experience in security, compliance, enforcement or transport roles.
• Strong communication skills to explain regulations clearly.
• Ability to manage confrontational and non-compliant behaviour.
• Customer service mindset and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an Authorised Officer within the Sydney bus network.
• Promote a safe, secure, and respectful public transport environment.
• Engage with passengers professionally and empathetically.
• Observe and assess passenger behaviour for safety/compliance risks.
• Respond to incidents calmly in line with transport policies.
• Apply conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
• Provide high quality customer service while enforcing transport regulations.
• Complete accurate incident and daily reporting.
• Maintain professional presentation and conduct.
• Comply with organisational and transport authority procedures.
