Job summary

Automic Group seeks a Transformation Business Analyst at EVT HQ to drive LEAN improvements across operations and support teams. You will map current and future processes, identify waste, and assess automation and AI opportunities with the Data Engineering team.

Using SIPOC, swimlane maps and time studies, you will quantify opportunities, track benefits, and influence stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leaders during a 12-month fixed term contract.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience applying LEAN principles in an operational environment.
• Proven skill in process mapping and value stream mapping, including facilitating workshops.
• Practical experience running FMEA and acting on the results.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead LEAN improvement projects from diagnosis through to implementation and benefits tracking.
• Spot waste, bottlenecks and variation in customer-facing and back-of-house processes, and recommend practical solutions.
• Embed standard work so improvements stick and can be repeated.
• Identify processes that are strong candidates for automation or AI, and work with our Data Engineering team to assess feasibility.
• Create and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, including SIPOC and swimlane maps.
• Develop value stream maps to show value-adding and non-value-adding activities, lead times and handoffs.
• Using data, observation and time studies to quantify opportunities.
• Run FMEA to identify potential failure points, prioritise risk and track corrective and preventative actions with process owners.
• Support operational standards and audit programs by identifying recurring failures and root causes.
• Engaging and influencing stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leaders.
• Reporting on project progress and benefits delivered.
