Get Skilled Training is a Queensland-based Registered Training Organisation (RTO) specialising in air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrotechnology training, delivering qualifications nationally. As our Queensland apprenticeship program and course delivery continue to grow, we're looking for an organised, people-focused Training Coordinator to join our on-site operations team to assist in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
As the Training Coordinator, you'll manage the day-to-day coordination and administration of our operations, including but not limited to apprenticeship program, fee-for-service courses, and funded contracts, making sure students get a consistent, high-quality experience from enrolment through to completion.
You will:
Coordinate the day-to-day running of the office and work closely with the administration team to keep things on track and running smoothly
Coordinate and maintain the training and assessment schedule, keeping trainers and students in the loop
Undertake a broad range of administrative functions to support compliant and efficient RTO operations, including document control, training plan management, correspondence, and data management
Have the ability to interpret and understand training packages and programs based on packaging rules and requirements, such as identifying credit transfers and being able to navigate recognition of prior learning
Allocate trainers and assessors to courses based on currency, qualifications, and availability
Coordinate apprenticeship sign-ups, training contracts, and enrolments with Apprentice Connect Providers
Manage invoicing, payments, and co-contribution fee processes
Monitor student progress, attendance, and competency completion
Maintain accurate records in the Student Management System (AVETMISS, enrolments, results)
Support in meeting contractual obligations and quality assurance activities
Act as the key point of contact for trainers, students, and employers on all things training delivery
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience working in an RTO as a Training Coordinator, Training Administrator or similar role
Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar (or equivalent experience)
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
Current driver's licence
Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
A confident communicator, comfortable on the phone and in writing
A genuine team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly regarded)
Experience within government-funded training environment (highly regarded)
