Mermaid Beach SLSC Supporters Club on the Gold Coast is seeking a Trainee Duty Manager / Supervisor to lead the floor, motivate the team, and deliver exceptional customer service in a busy, award-winning venue.

This hands-on role includes on-the-job training, RSA/RCG compliance, and a clear pathway into management within a supportive club culture.

You'll work closely with experienced management to grow professionally while ensuring a premium guest experience on site.

Competenze

• RSA and RCG certificates (an Approved Manager’s Licence - RMLV - highly regarded).
• Hospitality experience with strong customer service background.
• Attention to presentation and detail.
• Leadership skills with focus on team development and on-floor leadership.

Mansioni

• Lead on the floor and support management in daily operations.

An exciting opportunity has opened up at Mermaid Beach SLSC Supporters Club for a Trainee Duty Manager / Supervisor. We're looking for a hands-on hospitality professional to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our thriving club, supporting both our team and management.

About Us

Our club is a small-to-medium venue with a big reputation. We're home to the award-winning Merlina's Restaurant, a bar, 24 EGMs, and a TAB Sports Bar with Keno facilities. We pride ourselves on a hands-on approach, premium customer service, and a team culture that's second to none.

About You

You're proactive, energetic, and know that great leadership happens on the floor, not behind a desk. You bring hospitality experience and a track record of delivering exceptional customer service. You enjoy building, motivating, and developing a team, and you'll help create a positive, productive environment for a diverse group of hospitality professionals.

What You'll Need

• Current RSA and RCG certificates (an Approved Manager's Licence - RMLV - is highly regarded, along with any other relevant qualifications)
• Hospitality industry experience with a strong customer service background
• Excellent presentation and attention to detail
• Leadership skills, with a focus on team building, motivation, and staff development
• A commitment to your own growth as well as the growth of our team and business, leading by example with professionalism
